TEXAS

TERRENCE MACKEY & NU RESTORATION In 2002, a dynamic gospel group Nu Restoration was formed. This group of 15 is young people who don't proclaim to have it together but are striving to reach that point of realness that few groups achieve. They aspire to reach the nations with the ministry God birthed in their leader, Terrence Mackey. Terrence's overall goal is to bridge the gap between the young and the old for a better generation; with the help of God.

TEXAS

ADRIAN MEDEARIS & GAP Thoroughly contemporary and yet sometimes gilded with classic Gospel and traditional edges, Adrian Medearis & GAP shine throughout their newly released album "The Journey". Director and songwriter Adrian Medearis brings the maximum out of the GAP's 15 members, with the resulting sound being solid, heavy, and resonating with that unmistakeable East seaboard choir influence (as exemplified by James Hall and WAP or Craig Hayes and United Voices). It's unusual for a Texas-based group to take on the mantle of that sound, but they do it naturally, and they do it well.

OREGON

NEHEMIAH Though Public Mind is Nehemiah's first solo release, it is not Nehemiah's debut on the music scene. Raised in his father's church, Nehemiah has been performing music in one form or another for most of his life. Nehemiah had recorded his first song by the age of 12 and at the age of 15 he headlined his first concert in his hometown of Portland, Oregon with the proceeds going toward teenage victims of domestic violence. It was after that concert that Nehemiah was convinced that he wanted to pursue music professionally.

KENTUCKY

NU TRADITION Get ready to be blessed as Tyscot recording artists Nu Tradition takes you to church with their mix of old time favorites as well as new contemporary tunes. The group was inspired by the vision of the oldest living active bishop in Church of God in Christ, 96-year-old Bishop A.T. Moore of Louisville, KY. The brainchild behind the project is producer Austin Moore, who brought together some of gospel music's finest including national praise and worship leader Judith Christie McAllister, Lawrence Thomison of Bobby Jones' Super Choir and Nu Springs Record Company artist Lamar Campbell, who are all featured on the upcoming Tyscot project.

ALABAMA

OAKWOOD UNIVERSITY USM The Experience: Renewed is Oakwood University's 5th USM Anniversary Compilation Album. Every year the album is produced and recorded by the students, with some assistance from local producers and their facilities. The general USM theme this academic year was "The Time is Now: Be the Experience," hence the album title, The Experience: Renewed. The experience has a dual meaning, which is personal to Oakwood but generic to most Christians. The Experience: Renewed, which is echoed in the theme song, focuses on spiritual renewal and asking God to renew the experience (His love) within us so that we can relate and demonstrate that experience to others and be a light to the world--man's mission on this earth.

PJ OWENS & BEYOND PRAYZE Beyond Prayze is a vibrant Gospel ensemble comprised of saved, enthusiastic, energized young people for the Lord, whose mission is to save souls, through the ministry of music. Since their inception, they have diligently taken the ministry God has entrusted to them, everywhere God has called them to go. On May 20th 2004, Beyond Prayze was born from a revelation from God, given to Horace PJ. Owens, Jr. Currently, Beyond Prayze is making their indelible mark within the Philadelphia gospel music industry. The group's musical repertoire ranges from hymns, to jazzy gospel, to contemporary/urban gospel to original compositions and an ingenious arrangement of standards.

TIA PITTMAN Tia Pittman is a young highly motivated individual that is destined to succeed. Tia desires to succeed in winning the young and old souls to Christ. The songs that ring from the mouth of this young woman are songs of experience... Tia has been singing since the tender age of 3 and has been blessed to work with many highly esteemed artist, musicians, songwriters and producers. Throughout Tia's journey of life she has experienced the ups and downs of church, relationship, marriage and life, and the "music industry" at least until she discovered the true power of music and most of all God. God has allowed this soulster to experience these things so that she can effectively minister to the hearts and minds of ones who are searching for an answer.

R-SWIFT A soapbox is a raised platform on which one stands to make an impromptu speech, often about a political subject; also used to express concerns. R-Swift continues the revolution started with his debut release "Revolutionary Theme Music" by taking the gospel message to the people once again with his straightforward, creative and edgy approach in his sophomore release "SoapBox." R-Swift engages today's culture on his platform of Hip- Hop, utilizing his soapbox to present the truths of God and how they apply to real-life issues, including politics, religion and social justice in our world. R- Swift pleads a message to all who will hear, convicting people from all walks of life, all to the glory of God Almighty.

MICHIGAN

KEN REYNOLDS The son of a Sunday School superintendent and choir director, Ken Reynolds grew up in Church and made a commitment to follow Jesus as a young child. He also began playing music at a young age, learning to play the drums at age three, the piano at age six and the bass guitar at age 10. As his musical skills developed, so did his tastes, which grew to include a variety of influences ranging from classical and gospel to CCM and everything in between. Ken names among those influences Fred Hammond, Maurice White of Earth, Wind & Fire, Walter Hawkins, Michael W. Smith, Keith Thomas, George Duke, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov.

CHICO ROBINSON & GC Leader, Teacher, Songwriter and Musician: That's what you can call Chico Robinson. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and the second born of three, Chico has had a love for God and ministry from an early age. Being an active member in church, Chico was always involved in something whether it was preaching, playing an instrument, or directing the youth choir, Chico was giving God praise in all he did. Chico always knew that God had more work for him to do in the Kingdom of God. From that obedience, God birthed in him a ministry: God's Chosen Ministry and Surround Sound, the band.

ROCK NATION The sound which emanates from Rock Nation is like none other. Their passionate, eclectic, and boastful sounds, transcends across various musical genres changing the way we classify music. Anyone who loves, rock, soul, or pop will be blown away by the beautiful sounds that radiate from Rock Nation. What's even more exciting is the pureness and sincerity found in the band's music and lyrics.

SHAI LINNE Shai Linne is living proof that God has a wonderful sense of humor. He once told his mom that he would never, ever become a Christian, completely oblivious to the fact that God had chosen him to be a Christian before time began. He doesn't like the spotlight, so God gave him natural gifts that put him on stage as an actor. He doesn't like to be in front of people, so God gave him spiritual gifts that are mostly public in nature. Shai has appeared on numerous independent and national Christian Hip-hop releases, including his 2005 full-length debut, The Solus Christus Project. All this from someone who doesn't like hip-hop and never pursued a career in music. Someone in Heaven is having a big laugh at his expense. After all this time, Shai still doesn't get the joke.

BJ SHORES & MSG BJ Shores & MSG is a remarkable gospel-singing ministry that is definitely setting trends and making a mark in the city of Philadelphia. MSG is one of the most radical ministries that actually ministers. The ministry has grown by leaps and bounds, not just in numbers but also in spirituality. The ministry will not and cannot function without weekly bible studies, which seems to be the highlight of our rehearsals. Thus far through the ministry, lives have changed, broken hearts have been mended, and souls have been saved.

THEORY HAZIT One MC with enough style to give the impression that he is a 3-man group. Who is Theory Hazit? A producer/DJ who feels at home rhyming over his own beats the same as collaborating with high profile producers. Who is Theory Hazit? A husband and father – emerging from his days as a troubled youth and developing into a wise family man. Theory Hazit is a hip hop artist – born in Winchester, Kentucky, and raised with the support of his granny, an aunt and 2 uncles, he now lives in Cincinnati, Ohio. He always had a vivid imagination, enjoying cartoons more than music videos. He grew up with a love for dancing like Big Daddy Kane, New Edition, Kid 'n' Play and others.

KIMBERLY THOMAS Kimberly Thomas, the Princess of Praise and Worship is bringing a new element of worship to the nations! With dynamic creativity, Kimberly is defining a new Christian music genre by combining Gospel and Christian Contemporary with urban and alternative styles. With God given talents, gifts and versatility she is taking this new element of Praise & Worship beyond the borders of her hometown, Chattanooga, TN and into the world for the edification of the Body of Christ!

PENNSYLVANIA

TRIP LEE With his sophomore project 20/20, not only does Trip Lee challenge all listeners to evaluate every area of life through the lens of Scripture, but also desires for the listener to have a proper view of God and how they are to relate to Him. Trip set out to encourage seekers, as well children of the King, to see God as He has revealed Himself. In Christian hip hop it is easy to merely focus on the horizontal necessities of the faith. Trip Lee urges us not to forsake the importance of our vertical understanding and worship of Jehovah.

CALIFORNIA

VANSWAN VanSwan White is no ordinary twenty-one year old. At the early age of three, he was singing and directing the Saint Timothy Community Church choir in San Bernardino, California where his family attended. On the path to a possible mainstream singing career in his mid-teens, he resubmitted his life to Christ, and at the age of 18 chose to honor the fact that his musical abilities were indeed a gift from God. From that moment forward, VanSwan moved on with the sole purpose of spreading the message of Jesus Christ through music and song.
