Dorinda Clark-Cole Releases Third Solo CD
"Take It Back" In Stores April 15, 2008

New York, NY - In the Clark Sister tradition of creating musical wonderment that celebrates life and brings a smile to anyone within hearing distance, Dorinda Clark-Cole's incomparable vocal flair has wowed Gospel music lovers for more than 25 years – both as a solo artist and as part of The Clark Sisters - one of Gospel music's most exciting groups. Her third solo album, Take It Back, comes on the heels of the phenomenal Clark Sisters CD "Live – One Last Time," which landed the group its first three Grammy Awards as well as their first performance since 1985 on the seminal award show.
In stores April 15, Take It Back was co-written by Dorinda Clark-Cole with production by Asaph Ward and PAJAM. The disc features powerful songs of triumph, hope and encouragement with musical styles that run the gamut from neo-soul and jazz to the foot-stomping, make-you-want-to-get-up-and-dance traditional gospel for which Dorinda Clark-Cole is known.
The exuberant first single, also the title track, is currently heating up at radio. It was the highest debut its first week on the gospel radio charts and is now, five short weeks later, poised to break the Top-10. The track has been #1 Most Added and #1 Most Increased Airplay numerous times already. "Take It Back" is more than a song; it is Dorinda Clark-Cole's theme for this year. "I'm taking back everything that the enemy has stolen from me over the last three years," says Clark-Cole. "He tried to take my dreams...he tried to take the next generation...he tried to kill my daughter! I'm going to take it back and I want people to know that's what they need to do, and can do!"
Also included on Take It Back is the beautiful, restorative "Yesterday;" a song Clark-Cole says is very dear to her heart. "Yesterday" is saying that the things that happened yesterday are no more...so now I work towards my future and I can go on. It's about knowing that today wouldn't have been if it weren't for yesterday." A new twist on the gospel classic "Got To Hold On" is a sure favorite; "It's Okay;" a mellow, soulful track features her daughter Nicole and her niece Kierra "KiKi" Sheard; and "Praise Your Way Out" was birthed out of a recent message she preached, declaring "if you can praise your way through it, He will bring you out of it."
"This CD speaks to anything that you are going though or have experienced," says Clark-Cole. "I want people to know that when you go through a situation, don't get stuck. Don't even look at the situation, it's just temporary. I want people to not give up and just know they can get through any circumstance."

Nashville, TN -- When your calling is worship ministry it's evident in your music. EMI Gospel artist LaRue Howard is gearing up to drop her debut album How Great Is Our God, slated to release March 11th. The album is a collection of worship rhapsodies that are as notable as they are spiritually centered.
How Great Is Our God brings new perspective into the merger of Contemporary Christian and Traditional Gospel music. Howard's rendition of Chris Tomlin's hit and title track, "How Great Is Our God" moved many industry taste makers to their feet during her two song performance at EMI Gospel's New Music on the Horizon Showcase during Stellar Award weekend. The album reflects Howard's diversity as its tracks progress from calming and reflective to energetic and dynamic and back again.
