Music is one of the greatest vehicles through which praise and worship that is ascribed to God is carried. Michael A. Brooks is a minister of music who remains at the forefront of gospel music’s elite songwriter/producers. As one of the founding members of the award winning group Commissioned, Michael produced the first (6) album projects and also penned hits like; I’m Going On, Love Isn’t Love, Unworthy, Will You Be Ready, If My People, and many, many others that are to numerous to name.

In 1986 Michael founded the Stellar award winning female group “Witness” producing and writing most of the material over the years on all (9) of their projects. He has also produced (2) solo projects on his wife the renown Lisa Page Brooks, and worked with a plethora of different artist in the gospel music arena over his successful career often serving as a mentor through his Young Artist for Christ workshops. Michael has also been the recipient of numerous awards and recognition, he has a Dove, Stellar, and (3) Gospel Music Excellence awards. He has also been nominated for the Grammy award (4) times.

As an ordained minister of the gospel Michael A Brooks founded the Restoration Fellowship Church International in 1997, this Southfield Michigan based ministry is the birthing place for Michael’s latest music ministry exploit. Michael says - RFCI is a ministry from which intense praise and worship flows; all of our material is original and usually born out of a worship experience. Royal Priesthood is the church’s choir, a singing aggregation of youthful people who love to worship the Father. I decided after a few years of not even having a choir that we should come together and really praise God by blending our talents and abilities together; God has really put his stamp of approval on our efforts, we have what I like to call GMTGG ;Good Music that Glorifies God.

This project signifies the return of Michael A. Brooks as an artist, his writing and producing over the years has been fresh and innovative.
