Oscar has toured the US extensively doing workshops and performing, from Michigan to Mississippi, California to Connecticut, sharing the stage with such greats as Richard Smallwood, Daryl Coley, Yolanda Adams, Grace Bumbry, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Walter Hawkins, and V. Michael McKay. Oscar's ministry has also been abroad touring in six different countries, sharing the stage with Dionne Warwick, Lionel Richie, Anna Oxa, Chucki Booker and more. It was in Italy that Oscar's unique musicianship caught the attention of famed promoter Antonio Ciacca who internationally manages such artist as BB King, Ray Charles, Steve Lacey and Miriam Makeba thus leading to a 2003 and 2004 international tour of Oscar Williams Jr. and Perfected Praise.
Songwriter credits include songs on Teresa Hairston's Praise and Worship Project II (Verity), Thomas Dorsey Convention Project (Spirit Sound), Lecresia Campbell (Malaco), Wilmington Chester (AIR), GMWA Youth (Holy Roller Records).
About Perfected Praise:
Perfected Praise is an ensemble of worshippers who have been called since birth to set the atmosphere and break yokes because of their anointing. These psalmists are no strangers to gospel music or the industry. Many of these singers are recording artists that have performed on national stages. Several of the members have toured professionally with such gospel plays as Be Careful for What You Pray For and Looking for Mr. Do Right. . Yet remaining humble Perfected Praise believes in God being the exalter. They have toured Italy and have just completed their second international tour that kicked off in Poland. Perfected Praise holds the honor of being only the third gospel group to perform before the Pope at the Vatican Christmas Celebration.
