They have opened for the pillars in Gospel music such as Twinkie Clark, Edwin Hawkins, John P. Kee, and Yolanda Adams while also ushering in the new contemporary sound with the likes of Kirk Franklin, Tonex, Trinity 5-7, Michelle Williams, The Cross movement and the list continues. Their versatility also enabled them to share stages with R&B legends such as The Bar-Kays, Howard Hewett, Ollie Woodson of the Temptations, Blues legend Denise LaSalle, country favorites Stella Parton, Mike Snider and Gary Morris just to be a name dropper. Soulfruit is comprised of Toby Hill, a.k.a. "Tob" and Tyren Covington is "Ty", both hailing from Tucson, Arizona, who have since relocated to Houston, Texas.
