TRI-CITY SINGERS
EMI Gospel and Donald Lawrence are excited to present the final installment to what has quickly become one of Gospel’s most talked about and highly anticipated albums of 2006.

Since releasing their debut project Songwriter’s Point of View in 1993, The Tri-City Singers have become one of Gospel music’s most unique and popular choirs. With five releases to date, the Tri-City Singers have sold over 500,000 albums and been nominated for over a dozen awards including Grammy’s.

Their last offering ever, appropriately entitled Finale is the final installment for one of Gospel’s most celebrated choirs. This farewell project will be released in two parts –- Act One and Act Two. Both installments will include music from their live recording taped November 16th and 17th in Atlanta. The phenomenal two-night event commemorated the success of the group’s critically acclaimed career and the ending of the Tri-City era. The star studded event featured guest performances by Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Daryl Coley, Walter Hawkins, LeJuene Thompson, The Murrill’s, Dewayne Woods, EMI Gospel’s own, LaShun Pace, Darwin Hobbs, and many others.

Specially packaged, the first installment Finale Act One, a double disc CD/DVD includes brand new music and live recordings of some of their classic hits. The hit radio single “The Blessing of Abraham”, newly recorded “Heir,” and “God Is” echoes the historical success of the group through the years. Once again matching Donald Lawrence’s prolific production and arrangement skills with the amazing vocal talents of the Tri-City Singers, the live recording showcases the signature and outstanding sound that has made The Tri-City Singers one of Gospel’s most important choirs in the last decade.

The 2nd installment of the Finale appropriately entitled Finale Act Two is the last offering from The Tri-City Singers featuring live concert performances from phenomenal music legends including, “It’s Your Time” from the incomparable Vanessa Bell Armstrong joined by the worshipper of gospel himself Darwin Hobbs and music royalty Karen Clark Sheard, plus an amazing performance by Walter Hawkins of “Seasons.” Also included is an unforgettable performance of “And Yet I’m Still Saved,” by LaShun Pace, hit radio single “The Blessing of Abraham,” “Matthew 28,” and “Encourage Yourself.”. Additionally, Finale The Limited Collectors Edition will be released April 4th combining all music from Act One and Act Two.

The Limited Collectors Edition package contains the entire event—both nights, plus all the bells and whistles for the hardcore fan of this legendary Gospel choir! This is truly a fan package. Each package is autographed by Donald Lawrence and contains 2 full DVD’s (filmed in High-Definition) — each nights’ entire show on individual DVD’s.
